Meet The Founder

Giving teens the mentor I wish I had growing up.

Growing up, I felt like I was figuring everything out on my own, and looking back, I know how much faster I would have grown if I had someone who could help me see things from a different perspective in a way that parents and friends cannot.

Today, I'm an entrepreneur and mentor who has spent the last 5 years working with young people and families. Through my current role as a swim school owner and as a tutor in the past, I've seen firsthand how many teens are capable of far more than they realize. The challenge isn't usually ability, it's confidence, direction, and having someone who they trust and holds them accountable.

Teens today are struggling now more than ever and don't receive the mentorship they need, and every teenager deserves someone in their corner who sees and brings out their potential.

I help students work on areas like:

📚

Academic Success

Develop stronger study habits, improve organization, manage your time effectively, and build the skills needed to succeed in school.

💙

Confidence

Build self-confidence by developing resilience, improving communication, and learning to navigate challenges with a positive mindset.

🎯

Goals & Motivation

Turn big goals into achievable steps, overcome procrastination, and build the habits that lead to success in all areas of life.

🤝

Relationships

Strengthen communication skills, build healthier friendships, and learn to handle conflict with maturity.

💼

Career & Future

Explore career interests, prepare for internships, plan for college or trade school, and gain confidence about what's next.

🧩

Life Skills

Develop the practical skills that aren't always taught in school, from decision-making and problem-solving to responsibility, independence, and leadership.

Why mentorship works & why it is NOT therapy or tutoring

1.

Teens often need a voice outside the family

Parents play the most important role in a teenager's life, but sometimes teens are more open to guidance from a trusted mentor outside the family. I've seen first hand running a swim school with thousands of students how youth of all ages are more receptive to learning and being challenged by someone they see as their coach rather than their parent. I provide perspective to them they feel they can relate to and can reinforce the same values, advice, and expectations in a way that resonates differently with your teen.

2.

Mentorship focuses on action, not just conversations

Mentorship isn't about simply talking through problems. Every session is focused on creating practical next steps, building accountability, and helping teens make real progress toward their goals. Whether it's improving grades, finding an internship, building confidence, or overcoming procrastination, the focus is on results.

3.

Mentorship is different than therapy or tutoring

Mentorship is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. Therapy focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health concerns or processing past traumas and experiences. Tutoring focuses on improving performance in a specific subject through academic instruction. Mentorship focuses on the present and future to help teens build skills, confidence, habits, and a plan for success.

4.

Someone teens can relate to

The most effective mentor for youth is someone who is close enough in age to understand today's challenges, but experienced enough to provide guidance and perspective. These are challenges I've navigated myself in recent years, but I've also had the experience building a business, leading a team of 20, and mentoring others.
